Double IPA Pliny the Elder Clone

I did the 90 minute boil and nailed the OG in the recipe. So abv is a factor? As far as IBUs, we're aiming for the flavor hops so 60 minutes might be a bit too intense imho? Don't get me wrong, I use a lot of hops in my beers. But, With the hop profile of columbus, i'd rather boil it out at 90...

Hoppy bunny by duck rabbit brewery

I don't get why people like this one either. I'm a hop head too. My favorite duck rabbit is the barley wine. Tw.

    Failed Blonde / Pale Ale

I'd be dry hopping like you said.

    brewing a wheat with citrus

I used tangelo orange peels once and they rocked. This was a wheatless hefe which needed lots of coriander, orange peels and orange spice to make it seem like a hefe. German pilsen for grain. Whitelabs hefe yeast. Came out awesome. Those tangelos are nice peels.

    Foothills Hoppyum IPA Clone

I did a take of this but used citra as well as the other three hops and only used centennial for flameout. Fantastic! Never had hoppyum. Bet it's good. I also changed the grains a bit to make this my own.

    Chinook rhyzome speckled with mold

They could be used as a wild yeast?! Ouch. Now i see why some places wrap hops tightly.

    Zythos hops

I didn't get much of a hoppy kick from zythos hops but was amazed at how well WL530 worked with this beer i made. Granted i had simcoes and centennials for flavor and aroma. I didn't want too much bittering but wanted floral qualities. Zythos would be my choice for a Belgian IPA hop again. But...

    Foothills Hoppyum IPA Clone

I subscribed to this thread just because that recipe looks so delicious. I know you want to replicate that beer but i wonder what using citra instead of cascade would do as far as flavor. Seems like there could be more hoppiness in the boil too besides dry hopping?

If you could choose ONLY 3 hop varieties EVER, what would they be?

    Centennials, simcoes, and cascades.

    First All Grain Sparging Questions

I had the same question and this is what I'm going to do. The only tricky part will be hoping the boil starts at the same time or else I will need two timers. I have two five gallon coolers and am also considering splitting grains for high gravity beers. So two mash tuns and two pots would make...
