    Regulator w/out shutoff valves

Thanks IslandLizard. I figured no reason it shouldn't work, but wanted to make sure. Lbm - it's actually a dual regulator (3 gauges, 2 delivery pressure, and 1 high pressure). I've just ordered a wye-splitter and 3 shutoff valves. I'm assuming I don't need to order a female coupling to attach...

    Regulator w/out shutoff valves

Hey, So about 18 months ago I bought a Brew Logic Dual regulator from Midwest when they were on a completely ridiculous sale. You know, looking forward to when I could actually start kegging. Well, the time has come, and I finally pulled the regulator out of its box to set stuff up and I...

AEB vs AMCYL kegs - any difference?

This may be silly, but aside from the country of origin, is there any effective difference between AEB & AMCYL kegs? I'm looking to add a few 2.5 gal bad boys to the collection... Thanks for your input/experience!

    Shiner Ruby Redbird Clone Recipe

Been following this thread for a few summers now, and even bought grain to brew it last year but then had a kitchen issue and had to pause my brewing for a few months (don't worry, back in full swing for a while now!) and just never got around to it. Just picked up a case of this year's version...

    DIY Fermentation Cabinet

lol i imagine the ol' light bulb in a paint can assembly would work pretty well here... if you're worried about melting the foam, a thin layer of something that insulates might do it, like a rubber or silicone gasket/sheet where the paint can attaches to the chamber?

settling on a brown ale recipe for a gingerbread

Hey Doc, It ended up turning out to be phenomenally yummy. Pretty much like cake! I may very well re-brew it for the coming holiday season if I have time (I also brewed the spiced bourbon stout, and that was such a big hit I will certainly be revisiting that one!). My final recipe was...

What I did for beer today

Purchased two sets of grain/hops/yeast for my best friend's next two brews as his birthday present. And while I was at LHBS, clearly had to get supplies for my next one, too. Sent from my iPad using Home Brew

    Autolysis bubbles?

8 months, huh? That's actually reassuring to me -- I mean I know that autolysis generally isn't a concern anymore these days, but... I've been wondering because I have two brews that have been in on the yeast cake since January. I brewed them before going away for a month, and threw 'em in the...

Commercial beers that are good for educating my taste buds

Sixpoint does their "Spice of Life" series - a Single Hop IPA that comes out every month with different hops (otherwise all is the same recipe from grain bill, through fermentation schedule). And excellent way to really see how a specific hop contributes to a beer. Here's the current Spice...
