It's safe. Just fill it about half way and you're good to go.

I'll take 1 sack each of Rahr 2-row, Rahr Pilsen, and Weyermann Dark Munich.

If there's still room to get in on this buy, I need 1 sack each of Pilsen, 2-row, and Munich. Rahr or Canada Malting if available.

I just coarse grind it and add directly to secondary for 1 week. It's a bit of a mess to clean up, but tastes great.
