    How to add coffee to beer?

    I just coarse grind it and add directly to secondary for 1 week. It's a bit of a mess to clean up, but tastes great.

    fighting chill haze

    I get this with my beer. At room temp, it is crystal clear. Chilling it causes haze that goes away after approx. 2 weeks. For my most recent batch, I'm cold crashing it in the keg with gelatin. According to what I've read, this should speed up the process of getting the haze to drop out...

    Citra Hops - Do you use them? My DFH60 is WOW!

    I made an all-Citra APA and it was great. It has a strong mango aroma and a mild bitterness. Don't have the recipe on hand, but it was about 1.056 OG and 41IBU. I'm going to make it again soon. Citra is also really good in an American wheat beer.

    Tasted a lot of homebrew this past weekend...

    It was Northern Brewer's Sinistral Warrior kit. Has 0 hop flavor or aroma. It tastes more like a Scottish 70/- with off flavors than an IPA with off flavors. Don't want to hijack the thread. Just wondering if oxidation might have caused the problem.

    Would severe oxidization cause a total lack of hop flavor as well? My first AG batch (70IBU IPA) has no hop flavor at all. It does have a sort of "dirty" or "earthy" bitterness to it. I'll drink another one tonight to see if I would classify it as wet cardboard or not. I've been trying to...
