those look really interesting, i had never heard of them before. I guess its a convenience thing for those that don't like siphoning off to use their hydrometer.
just like everyone else +1 for oxy clean a large tub of that is only around 7 bucks and will last a long time. and it's nice to have around when doing laundry too!
My SWMBO hates the smell of hops. Wish i knew this before brewing the hop head kit from midwest. Now im stuck staying at her place and she refuses to come to mine until its done brewing. Just wait until we move in together in the fall!!
i just brewed this yesterday and will rack to secondary for dry hopping. How long did you guys leave in the secondary? im assuming a 14 day dry hooping and then to bottling? correct me if im wrong.
i am going to be dry hopping in about a week and i think i'm going to have to do it in the carboy as i dont have a keg. Any other suggestions would be great but i think this is my only option to put the leaves in a nylon bang and let it do it's thing. I know it will be a problem getting them...

It depends. It depends on everything form the size of your propane tank, the efficiency of the burner and even the temp outdoors. You can look up the amount of energy online for a normal propane tank and use your owners manual to figure out the rest. hope you figure it out!
