So I got side tracked when my 1.5l starter was cooling and when I pitched the yest into it, it was in the 50'ish degree temp. Is this going to affect my Hefeweizen IV Ale yeast?

George

PS - It will be on a stirplate

Not ideal, but it will be fine. It will warm up to room temp pretty quick and the stir plate will keep the yeast in suspension as it does.

I don't know what you guys were worried about.... Lol
