Yep, I'm a new guy.

Been reading the stickies and FAQ's and just skimming sections.

I took the leap last night an ordered a kit from Midwest, now I'm just anxiously awaiting my arrival so I can get some brewing started this weekend.. :rockin:


So far the main theme I've been reading is.....realx, let it work and don't worry so much.
I like that!

Wow, you guys are fast.


Yep, it's definately going to be extract for the first couple batches.
These to be exact:
Bavarian Wheat
Liberty Cream
But I upgraded both to Wyeast Propagator yeast packs.

And I purchased this kit:
Brewing Starter Kit with Better Bottle
(plus some other random trinkets)

Woo hoo!
My kit and ingredients just showed up!

But, I have a broken part, luckily it's not anything that will keep me from being able to get started brewing right away. The handle to open the spigot on the bottling bucket was broken, called Midwest and they are sending me a new one right away!

GREAT customer service and very plesent on the phone, BTW.

So, I'm very happy with my purchase, and can't wait to get started!
