Might sound weird but.... Butter?

So I was wondering if anyone has ever used butter in their beer. I'm always thinking of new weird stuff and I thought of brewing a butter stout or buttermilk stout. Not sure if that would be good or horrible. Also when would you add something like that

Wanted to get as much input as I could. I'm sure 50 years ago there was a lot of stuff people said would not work in beer but I'm a why not not a why kind of guy

For the record, typically it only takes one thread for answers, and when a question is broken up into 2 or more threads they are often merged anyway. You arent well served to post in multiple threads the same question.
