Transplanted some feral hop rhizomes 4 years ago. 1st year they grew OK, and produced a handful. 2nd year grew well, and produced 2 solid packed Qt. ziplocks. Last year got one ziplock, but the weather was dry and I didn't water much. This year, a wet year, absolutely fantastic growth-25-30 feet, bushy, beautiful. But No cones at all. I did use some pelleted miracle grow, and compost plus mulch. Did I feed too heavily so got the good vegetative growth but no reproduction? Or are they just worn out plants and should be replaced? Any ideas?

I know nothing about growing hops but the thread title intrigued me until I noticed this wasn't in the boneyard
