I'm just trying to get a consensus for which dry yeast to use for an Alt. I've seen mixed reviews for the Safale K 97.I have some Safale 05 and 04 on hand and have seen some use the 05 with decent results. I'm doing 10 gallons so maybe I'll split them up between the 05 and the 97. If anyone has any other dry yeasts that work out well for an Alt, I'm all ears. Unfortunately, my brewing time is a bit limited so I don't get to experiment much. Thanks alot

If you must use dry I say split them between the 05 and the 97, I experiment every chance I get. I think both of those are "sorta alright" for an alt, but this is a style I would always spring for the liquid on.
