Looking for suggestions for what mesh size to use for an inline filter. I dislike the amount of particulate in my kettle at the end of the boil and would like to get it out during brewing. I have a sight glass I'm not using as well as all other needed parts except the screen. I'm going to use a tri clover screened gasket at the outlet of the sight glass. Plan is to have it close to the kettle so I can close the ball valve on the kettle outlet and clean the filter as needed.
Shooting from the hip I'm thinking 100 mesh, but I have very little experience with mesh sizing and what it will or won't let through. I'm looking for a combination of flow and filtering.
Thanks for any suggestions.
