Has anyone tried using West Branch brand Pilsner and/or Pale malts yet, and if so, would you report on the quality of these N/E Ohio grown and processed malts?

I've seen them for sale at both 'Grape and Granary' and 'Vine-N-Hop' in N/E Ohio.

I have used both West Branch malts (purchased at Vine n Hop w/AHA discount). Both got me the results I expected, although it seemed that I had allow more than 60 minutes for full conversion with the Pilsner.

I plan to continue to use West Branch malt for base malts. I believe they are working on Vienna and Munich malts too.

I’m committed to brewing with local ingredients as much as possible. So for me that means Ohio grown and malted grains and hops.
