Weird Beer Smith Problem

So I opened up BeerSmith today to work on a recipe and had a weird problem. In the "Ingredients" box I don't see anything its just a blank white box. Below it has still calculated the OG, FG Color Bitterness etc. etc. It seems like it has all the information but for whatever reason isn't showing it. I shutdown and restarted twice to no avail.
Anyone ever had this happen or have any insight into how I can fix this? Thanks.

Check on the Beersmith site, in the forums. It is a known issue, and the fix is spelled out there.

It happened to me, and IIRC, it involves deleting a file in the program and/or user data directory.

Sorry I don't remember the exact fix.

try deleting the newopts14.opts file located in the beersmith directory.

2 things that made this trickier than it needed to be:
1. I had to show hidden files to follow the path to the folder
2. Close BeerSmith before you delete the file or it won't delete.
