I'm on my second batch and while bottling, I realized I didn't top off my fermenter with enough water-so I only had about 4 gallons. Not even thinking, I followed the directions and used 3/4 cup corn sugar to prime it. Am I in trouble? Or should that be safe? Want to avoid an exploding bottle!

You should be OK. Might be a little overcarbed but shouldn't create bottle bombs. Cooler conditioning for a couple of weeks then into the fridge.
