I am headed to So Cal at the end of the month and will be on the hunt for some craft beers to try. The LA Times has their list which is apparently debatable. http://www.latimes.com/business/mon...lifornia-craft-beers-20130329,0,3653646.story For those of you who are fortunate enough to be exposed to the craft breweries in So Cal, what should I make a point of seeking out?

Where in SoCal? Downtown LA? OC? San Diego? Big difference on our recommendations, as it's a big place...
You have to hit the Brewhouse it's in Santa Barbara, near the beach 3 blocks or so inland, Good food and great beer, it's off the beaten path in a semi residential area near State St, they were on the program "Drinking made Easy" here's the link: http://www.brewhousesb.com/
oh yea and you have to try St. Barb's dubbel it's fantastic!!
Another would be Telegraph Brewery also in SB they have a tasting room only open Thurs, Fri & Sat,

Those are excellent suggestions. SoCal is huge, so where you are makes quite a difference in what you actually have access to. I'd also suggest Ladyface in Agoura, which is pretty much on the way from LAX to SB. They do a lot of Belgian stuff and their food is great.
