Even though flavors change when fermented this could be a good place to get a taste (literally) of what a base beer with additions in the fermenter might taste like. I see french presses at garage sales and what not all the time! Thanks for sharing.
 
It's not really a new concept. A lot of people dry hop individual bottles like this...
 
I have to say I want to give it a try might be interesting to try cream of three crops an add some different hops and mayb lemon and lime zest
 
Thanks for sharing, there have been a lot of people asking questions about using coffee beans and cocao nibs and what not for their brews, this def gives a good idea. I actually own one of the Randall Jr's so i'll be using that now to help infuse flavors in my batches on a smaller scale.
