The first beer you had on your birthday. It doesn't have to be a particular year. Just do it! Today (my birthday) I started with a St. Bernardus Abt 12.....so delicious. Who else?! Most memorable I guess haha.

I went to Rogue on my most recent birthday and was given the free birthday mug (very big) of Cask ESB.

On midnight of my 21st birthday I picked up a 6 pack of Boston lager. Had to coerce the cashier into ID'ing me so I'd feel special.

On my 21st, I'm pretty sure my first (legal) beer was a Miller Lite (yeah, shut up :p). I went to B-dubs with a friend who had just had his 21st a couple weeks before. At the time, minors in KY had a big "UNDER 21" down the sides of their licenses, and the restaurant had just gotten busted for serving minors just a few days before. When the bartender carded us, she saw the "UNDER 21" and refused to serve us. We had to get the manager out, who looked at our licenses and told her "look at the birth dates, give them a beer!"

I've scaled up on birthday beers since then. Not sure what I'll pick up this year.

when I turned 21, the drinking age was 19

buddy & I split a bottle of Mezcal. My birthday, so I got the worm

there might have been hallucinogens involved. and beer.

Back in the days I was in Va. and the drinking age was 18 for beer, 21 for wine and liquor. On my 18th, I went to the local market where I had been buying for about 3 years and told this guy Steve who used to sell to me that he should really card me. When I showed him my license, he was Pissed off to say the least. Stroh's was the beer I bought.

Im not shure but I do have an idea of what I want to do on my 40ith in a few months,is go to Two Brothers or Three Floyds since im just a hop scitch and a < 3 hrs away maybe.

My first birthday beer: bud ice! I thought was cool because I want drinking regular bud or miller.

When I turned 21, I don't remember what I drank, all I know is it was a LOT of it since I don't remember a damned thing. Probably mostly liquor. If I had to guess, at least into the double digits of Jameson shots.

As far as my birthday this year, my wife bought me a bottle of Cantillon Fou'Foune while we were out for dinner. Man was that delicious. Also grabbed the Stone Enjoy By 2.15.13 IPA for myself as a gift, but that was a couple days early.

As far as the next few years, I'll be opening one bottle from the brick of Westy 12 I picked up in December.

I remember on my 21st birthday, my dad and I were headed out for a weekend of hunting. We stopped at this tiny, small town liquor store. The only beer they had worth buying was Sam Adams Octoberfest. I bought myself a sixer of that and a bottle of bourbon for my dad.

Dont remember recent years' (not from too much, just nothing special), but on my 21st I tried to drink all the Nady Ice in the county (I got close).

Coors light on my 21st birthday at Stateline, NV at Buffalo Bill's Casino
