The rat found it out and so did I,
Using his clue I feel quite sly.

Riddles like these he can surely handle,
The answer he places upon his mantel.

Dan said:
Not sure Dave answered LRB's question
But answer he gave was a pretty great suggestion
Since The Rat gave a big thumbs up at that
I think LRB was tipping his hat
and saying its good to move on to the next one
if so, here is my riddling question

When fat it is slow, when thin it is fast
The longer the day the more it will last.
Tall when it is young, short as it gets old
It's gone with the wind when it gets too bold.

First time posting in this thread,
Awfully tired and ready for bed.
Might solve your riddle not hardly tryin'
Are you speaking of a dandelion?

LRB.. you know what?
I truly believe you have powers of what
What?! A true clear mind who anwers
Unsolveable rhymes that have no answer

If anybody did not know this
There is no rhyme LabRatBrewer won't solve us..

That's my take don't make no mistake

LRB, there is no mystery'
He cant not forsake
You all got to know my very good friend
He always brings answers in the end.

Oh, but I wish that were true
I just I am old and many riddles aren't new
Yet I still love to see new twists employed
and when Im stumped, and silent, Im overjoyed

Hey LRB

MY computer is crap

that's why I'm just getting back

arrgg that's a BS excuse.

LRB I just go to say

This thead woud not
not be the same

If you were not playing your name (it sort of rhymed)

But I mean it true.

Without LRB there woud be no rhyming tunes

An eloquent and thoughtful scribe I may aspire,
but coming up with my own riddle causes me to tire.
Hopefully you will find this neither too easy nor hard,
But in either case, go easy on this tired bard ;)

I move quieter than a mouse
Yet can obscure a whole house.
Some may try to get me to stay,
But always I slip away.
Usually I hide the pale face on high,
but at times even the orb in the sky.
Probe my depths with a light so bright,
And your eyes will probably lose all sight.
Now the hounds are nigh,
Can you answer, "who am I?"

You say this is neither easy or hard
Easy for me? No, not likes it's in my back yard

Or is it sometimes?

I may be brought to the gallows
But would say your quest brings on shadows

Your eloquence with words may cause this thread to boon
When I read them I thought for sure I would swoon
I'm not much for poetry, prefer a cartoon but,
I enjoyed your riddle I think it's the MOON. (?)

Ah Dan - I'm in your yard if you wish,
But the shadows I do banish...

Behind a wheel I may make your heart race,
But most certainly I am not the pale face.

Perhaps I chose my answer too swiftly
But this answer I think still alludes me
If I'm right this time I'd feel genuine glee
Could you perhaps be a large tree?

Okay, I'm lost
That's nothing unusual
Did Ischiavo bring the correct tool?
That answered this very tough duel
Which came from a man whose riddles are really cool

Crap.. I have no clue... LabRat!
Where the heck are you at?

Dan, we have no confirmation of the correct shot
I have two guesses in the pot
Ischiavo saw my post odometer flip
so he gave his hat a tip

Oh it did LRB sun. Now this thread has passed a eleven hundred and one.

The riddle recently posted. Has made my mind toastedl

I guess it's why I love this site

Not all answers are in close sight

I'm sorry I left your search for the answer so mired,
but yesterday I was exceedingly tired!
Oh so for me it was early to bed,
mostly so I could rest my poor head...

Perhaps I chose my answer too swiftly
But this answer I think still alludes me
If I'm right this time I'd feel genuine glee
Could you perhaps be a large tree?

While intertwining with branches, each and every one,
A tree I am not, for I weight near nothing and it over a ton.

I am uncertain, so I'm not shouting loud
But in this riddle I see a cloud
The more I think the more it feels wrong
Perhaps a better answer will cone along

The answer is near, it will not take that long,
then I feel you are the one to take song.

Your dog's barking in the NIGHT
might have trigered an answer that's right?

I do play at night, this much is quite true,
but I am not he - please re-read each clue!

:mug:Come on Clifton!
Make our minds stop drift'n
You good man have a brilliant head on you
Now give us all a riddle to stew

Imagine you are out of beer
Your fermenters are drained clear
You have no friends anywhere near
Your kegs are dried
Your bottles all died
You have no money and will not beg, borrow or steal
You are soo thirsty your need for beer is real
You need a beer now
So, tell me how?

LabRatBrewer takes this thread to great heights
His own home spun riddles are out of sight!
I'm not very clever nor ingenious
Which has nothing to do with the size of my penis :)oit rhymed)
So with out further ado
Here's a fun easy riddle for you

Both time and money or a place to stay
Term used in some schools or a means to pay.
Some will last three months or minutes fifteen
The first and the last or two in between.

It's an old one but not that well known, I think.

What's greater than God,
More evil than the devil,
The poor have it,
The rich need it,
And if you eat it you will die?

I will dare to share with the attempt of "fare"
Edit: Never mind, I suck at this game. I'll try another time, when I'm not so lame :)

I should go to bed.
Because apparently my mind is quite dead.
Been reading through a bunch of riddles.
I should play Emjay's fiddle.
Only figured out a few,
and these I share with you.

This thing all things devours,
Birds, beasts, trees, and flowers.
Gnaws iron bites steel,
Grinds hard stones to meal,
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down

Yowsa yowsa.. a second riddle for you to nibble

Old Mother Twitchet had one eye
and a long tail that she let fly.
And every time she went through a gap,
she left some tail in the trap

For the first, the answer even Lorena Bobbit
would know so long as she read The Hobbit.
Since she's not here, the solution I will chime
is the endless march of that concept called time!

The second puzzle is new to me
so I pondered with hand on knee.
Although today I arose very early from bed,
I think the answer might be a needle and thread?

For the first my 2 cents in I will chime,
I believe the word you are looking for may in fact be time.

for the old mum,
I may be wrong but credit I want some,
For your recognition here I wheedle,
Is she perchance, a needle?

Here is one to keep this going.
This is a fun game lets not let it keep slowing

This object has a tongue
yet never talks
has no legs
and at times walks.

and just for fun
here is another one

He got it in the woods and
brought it home in his hand
because he couldn't find it.
The more he looked for it the
more he felt it. When he finally
found it he threw it away.
