Well. Swmbo called me at work in a panic, didn't think anything of it, got home and it indeed blew the airlock and stopper out a bit and was hissing... so I pulled it out and yeast splattered all over my face, a few moments later a yeast snake started coming out of my better bottle at about an inch a second, this was an hour ago and hasn't stopped yet... it was a 1.075 ipa with about a 1.5L starter, and the starter was only going for prolly 8 hours on the stir plate... props to the yeast. Now I smell like yeast and need to be on clean up duty tomorrow... my ferm fridge looks like swamp thing exploded

I took a video, ill see if I can post it up a bit later

On my phone so hopefully this works! <a href=http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a82/Kameirocco/?action=view&current=VIDEO0044.mp4 target=_blank><img src=http://static.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid9.photobucket.com/albums/a82/Kameirocco/VIDEO0044.mp4 border=0 alt=></a>

What did you get for attenuation? I just used1098 for the first time and got 85% which seems high compared to what Wyeast recommends

Honestly, i can't recall off the top of my head. i think it went from 1.075ish to 1.010? it's been over a year though, my brain is a bit fuzzy :)

I really enjoy having a brewing journal to keep track of everything, BasicBrewing.com has a great one that i use

i have a leather bound journal, but it's hard to access at work when it's at home :mug: lol thanks though! :)
