While my ultimate goal is to get my setup all electric the current reality is that I need to continue using propane at least for another year or so while I build out my brewing area in the garage. Doing mostly 10-12 gallon batches these days on the SQ14 that I had for my 5 gallon batches. The SQ14 still works but I am going through a lot of propane on brew day and takes forever to get 13-14 gallons of wort to a boil. Looking to upgrade to a better burner that will both get me too temp faster and be more efficient on the gas. Contemplating either the Bayou Classic KAB6 or Blichman Floor Standing burners but I don't know anyone that owns either so looking for feedback/suggestions.
