Just a quick note- Brewing an IPA right now which I am working on perfecting for my House IPA. Been struggling with mash pH and between EZ Water, Brewer's Friend and Beersmith, along with all the advice given by folks here, especially AJ Delange, just nailed a 5.25 mash pH. Test mashing is a HUGE help in establishing parameters pre-brewday. EZ Water predicted my pH at 5.46, and Brewer's Friend predicted 5.36 with identical info. My test mash gave me a base for where my true pH might land and with a couple tweaks I got the best first attempt I could've hoped for. Thanks for all you fella's have contributed to the community and the art. I'll update with taste notes.
