How many bines per line?

Got a few 3 year hops on a V trellis system. How many bines per line are recommended. I was thinking 3-4, making it 6-8 per plant, would be sufficient since they are 3 years but I'd like to get a more experienced opinion. Last year I think I did too many plus the drought w/ lack of drip irrigation (one has been installed :rockin really set me back.

NM, did a search, going with 3 per line. Thanks anyways.

I do 3 per line frome each plant and trim the rest back.

You have a pic of your trellis. Have five plants and need to build a trellis but don't know a good design.
