I brewed a Belgian Golden Strong Ale a week ago. I used WLP 550 and the OG was 1.074. Is this really still in kraeusen?

I have never used this yeast before but I have not yet seen anything like this. Is this normal for this strain?

I don't plan on even testing it until this subsides but my target is 1.013. I am dying to see what it is at.

I've used 550 a handful of times and usually get about 85% atten. It's a monster and finishes quick; go ahead and check it as that head tends to stick around. If it's not to you're FG, try coaxing the head back into suspension. I do this with WLP400 and it works great. If its done, give it another week to clean up.
