No, the racking cane is the longest part of the kit and it measures 29" so from the VERY bottom of the keg to the top of the kit it will measure 29" + what ever the bottom band height offset is. That is NORMALLY about an inch.

Bringing this back up Jay, I am getting my keg set up for fermentation. I need to set up the racking cane. I was wondering how well the cane set up in your Sanke kit holds pressure? Have you ever tested to see how much pressure it will hold?
