Hello, newish here...been lurking and reading lots, great forum!

So I can't seem to find this answer here I must be using the wrong search terms, so my question is: inside my keggle mash tun I have a Titan universal false bottom and I just connected it with a small piece of 5/16" ID tubing, so my concern is that with all the potential weight from the soaked grains etc it will collapse or pinch the tubing.

Thoughts and comments greatly appreciated, thanks you!

Thick-walled silicone tubing (1/8" wall thickness) should not collapse. Translucent 1/2" ID / 3/4" OD silicone tubing (hose) is most commonly used for hot wort transfers.
