Howdy-
New to the game. I am planning on getting into starter yeast with stir plate. Is there a general ratio for the amount of DME and starter yeast per fermenter? How much DME for 1 gallon? 5 gallon? etc. Will a 1000 mL Erlenmeyer be sufficient for small batch brewing or would it be wise just to get a 2000 mL if planning to upgrade to a bigger set up? Any wise words for someone getting into starter yeast?
