Hi

With regard to the measurements in the recipe forum, are the Gallons US or Imperial? I live in a metric world and need to apply a conversion to the recipes.

Cheers
Joe

I'd concur. I've brewed quite a few batches from the recipe forums and always made the assumption of US gallons. All of them have turned out well, with some having notes for tweaking.

I don't know what the difference between US and imperial gallons are but as I live in Australia too, I assume when people say 1 gallon I convert to approx 3.8 litres. Which is also equal to 4 quarts, a term that also gets thrown around a bit.

On this forum, I would assume U.S. gallons unless otherwise noted, as said previously.
