I took a vial of WL002 yeast with production date of 2/24/2013, and made a 1.5 liter starter. I then broke this down into 3 portions, and made 3 new vials of yeast.

When I go to use this newly created yeast, would I enter in the date in which I farmed it or the actual production date of the original yeast used? I am trying to figure out the viability for another starter.... I am assuming I will be using the date I farmed it, and not the factory production date.

Thank you for any help!

Correct, it is the farmed date. When you make a starter you are creating new cells basically "resetting" the expiration date to some extent.
