My "go to" juice used to be one where the only ingredients are Apple Juice and Malic Acid. That was it. Unfortunately, that juice is now $5.49 a gallon.
They also have another juice that has the following ingredients:
Filtered water, apple juice concentrate, calcium gluconate, calcium lactate, ascorbic acid, malic acid.
That juice is $2.89 per gallon, slightly more than half the cost of the other juice.
So has anyone fermented with calcium in the juice before? I'm not sure that it is really a big deal, but was hoping to get opinions on taste.
