Naming my Homebrew

I understand that when brewing at home all beers are unique. But if I use a kit to brew would it be morally wrong to give it a name of my own? I was thinking I'd make up some silly labels and slap them on there. Even if the brew is for myself and some friends. What do you guys think?

It's still your brew, treat it like your own!

I name all my beers. Having fun with beer you're not selling to the public is not immoral, in my opinion.

If you and a buddy both brew the same kit, the beer will almost certainly be subtly different. The beer is yours, name away.

The only issue is if you passed off the recipe as your own.
