Question Regarding Reusing New Castle Bottles!

Hello! I'm new to this site, as well as to home brewing. A friend and I are simply in the research phase. We were wondering if anyone here knows if New Castle bottles (the seasonal brown ones, NOT the clear ones) use the U.S cap size, or the European cap size. They claim to be imported, but as I eye ball it, they look like they are the US size. Does anyone know? Or do they know a standardized way for me to check? Such as a stamp put on a US vs European bottle?
Further, if I've posted this to the wrong part of this site, could you let me know where I was supposed to post it?
