I am fresh out of corn sugar, and have a bottling day planned in the next few days. I do have lots of table sugar. I also have a bag of DME. I may even have a few other things. Or should i just wait and order a bag of corn sugar?

Use the table sugar. I use table sugar to prime all my beers and for what they charge for 5oz of it at homebrew shops I could buy a 2lb bag of the plain stuff at the grocery store instead.

Cane sugar will work just fine. I've used both corn sugar and cane sugar before and didn't notice any difference at all.

Chemically speaking though, dextrose (corn sugar) and sucralose (cane sugar) are not the same. But for priming, they will both work.

I've used brown sugar for a couple of stouts. Made it even better. Jist have to find that happy medium. Between sweet anf bitter.

I mostly use dextrose (corn sugar) to prime with. But table sugar & either processed or raw cane sugar works well too. Raw cane sugar is also good in recipes,as it has a light brown sugar laced with honey flavor. It'll also add a wee tiny bit of color. Here's a priming calculator to tell the differences in how much to use between dextrose, sucrose,& DME's; http://http://www.tastybrew.com/calculators/priming.html

I go to natural food store and pick up a 32oz bag of Dextrose for like 4 bucks might be 5 with tax. can get approx 10 - 5 gallon batches for like 5 bucks. and that beer priming calculator works great!
