First Brew (Not from a tin!)

Hi Guys,

I'm super new to brewing and have so far only dabbled 4-5 times in it using the tins from my local brew shop. I'm really wanting to try and make a beer from scratch I.e. mashing the grains and all, I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice on a type of beer or recipe that is easiest for me to start on so I can get my head around the whole process..
