In general, how necessary is it to have extremely clear wort when running off from the mash tun to the brew kettle?

I have experimented in vorlaufing vigorously, slowing sparging and running off slowly for the most clarity, but also vorlaufing quickly, running off quickly with floaties and particulates....so im wondering, after fermentation, bottling/keggin is all said and done, does the runoff clarity matter in the eventual beers ending clarity? What is acceptable in terms of particulates in the runoff?

Just curious if im wasting my time being so vigilant about a clear runoff...thanks yall

I don't like lots of grain in my wort, but I don't think it has to be perfect. I guess if you have too much, you could get tannins from the grain, but I have never noticed any off flavors from a few floaters.
