Brasserie Montfort No NEIPA brewed here
Hello,
My name is Jacques, I'm a Belgian living in Montreal Canada.
I've been homebrewing for ... I don't remember exactly ,it must be about 20 years.
I'm just checking my homebrewing papers and I have in front of me the 1st certificate I was awarded in a homebrew contest. It is dated 1994 lol
15 years ago there was several well stocked homebrew equipment and ingredients suppliers here. Now there are only 2 left.
There was also several competitions in the Montreal area. Now , as far as I know, there is none
What reactivated the "brewing flame" inside of me was that 2 months ago I visited Brasil ( my wife is Brazilian ) and I was fortunate enough to meet several very friendly enthusiast homebrewers in the city of Curitiba. ( I'll post some pictures later ).
I'm glad I found this forum so I won't feel alone when I'm brewing in my kitchen here in Montreal.
