Plastic buckets?...

I've been told that I can only ferment in plastic buckets for up to 10 days? Anh thoughts?

I've done 5.5 months with no problems. Though normally I primary my beers between 4 to 5 weeks in them.

I was told the same thing. They warned of the results of fermenting in an ale pail for ~2 months.......the results? gold medal beers.
