Hi all, recently started brewing have 18 extracts, and 2 partial grains and 1 prickly pear mead under my belt(more literal than figurative). I plan on switching to all grain soon and culturing my own yeasts. I have been collecting equipment to build a 15 gallon brewstation, as to what type I'm still investigating different components and setups. probably go with steam injected mash laughtertun with stirbar on a tipable axis for easy cleanout. inline wort cooler, maybe steam injected boil kettle(not sure if this is the right way to go here), hopback, inline O2 injector, 15 gallon fully draining plastic conical fermenter(just purchased this new, what a great deal!!!) then into cornies. brb gotta refill my glass. :mug:I'm always willing to take suggestions from anyone with more experience or give what limited knowledge I have. So far my favorites have been an american amber, german kolsch and a good steam clone. if anyone out there wants to give me their two cents please feel free. the more I know then the better my beer!
