Hey guys,

I managed to get a few 30 bottle wine kits rather cheap so have managed to scavenge 30 good quality bottles that originally were champagne bottles.

They use a regular size cork as I tested each one with a plastic tipped push in cork.

Well I don't have a corker yet and i was hoping to get a cheapish corker as I don't think I will be using wine bottles a lot so the cheaper the better. Would this be OK for 30 bottles http://www.brewstore.co.uk/handy-wine-corker-1963-p.asp

Should I get waxed, tapered, plastic tipped or normal corks?

Thrall, if you brew beer, and those really are champagne bottles... then just CAP them with beer caps. Its for faster aging wines, so you will be consuming them within a year, so no big deal! :)
