We're on a frost advisory tonight in Chicago as well.

I thought about covering up my plants, but I'm really not too worried about it. They're super resilient plants, I think they'll be just fine.

In central ILand mine are just now coming up. One is about 3" 3 others are just poking thru. I'm just ting something g over the top. I figure this weeks warm up ill see huge growth!

We're on a freeze advisory in my part of CT early Tuesday morning, I think I'll be covering them; if it were just a frost warning I might be on the fence, but a freeze warning is a bit more serious.

This frost don’t have anything on your hops! It won’t get cold enough and for a long enough time to hurt them.

Hops laugh in the face of frost advisories. Had 6" of snow on mine last year with temps at or below freezing for 3-4 days, no problems.

Mine are very very slow to show this year. Of course, we did have snow on Saturday and Sunday, with temps of 19 degrees last night. I'm sure my hops are fine- they actually grow like weeds and can be quite invasive if not controlled.
