Regulator Barb

While adding a manifold to my gas lines today I broke the barb on my regulator. It looked like this:

Will that exact piece at Lowe's work? Is Starsan okay to use on brass for short periods?

looks right. bring in your regulator to see if it fits. use a bit of teflon tape.
