Made 19 batches starting Feb this year - would have started long ago had I realized how good Homebrew beer was - lots of experience drinking microbrewery craft beer - did a tour and visited at least one microbrewery in 49/50 states- old retired ChemE @75 yrs old - the beer making process fascinates me - been a lifelong beer drinker -mybiggest weakness is describing/smelling the different taste/smells - my palate is pretty ignorant - I will post a thread - would like input on generally howmuchhopsmakes a pale ale a IPA oz in 5 galbatch or oz/gal - I am sure the are a lot of different opinions-
