This started life as a Two Hearted Ale clone that I modified with additional hops. Can this hop schedule be simplified at all? Do all four of these hops work well together or is it needlessly complex?

2lbs Vienna Malt
8oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L
8oz Carafoam

Hop Schedule
0.50 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 60.0 min
0.50 oz Centennial [10.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min
0.25 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 45.0 min
0.25 oz Centennial [10.00 %] - Boil 45.0 min
0.25 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 30.0 min

0.25 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 15.0 min

I don't think this is needlessly complex, but I would consider moving your 30 and 45 minute additions to later in the boil.

Perhaps combine them into a single 5 minute addition?

For your dry hop, everyone has their own preference, but I would reduce your time from 7 days to 3 or 4 days.

That said, you've put together a tasty looking recipe. Good luck!

Oh, definitely simplify! You won't gain anything from adding hops at all those times. I'd add the bittering hops, say, 1 ounce of centennial, at 60 minutes or FWH, and then add some at 5 minutes, some at flame out, and then whirlpool after that with the rest. And dryhop with maybe just two varieties.

it's not really a clone anymore, since two hearted is one hop.

I would do what nothingrhymes and yooper suggest, move to later additions, hop stand's etc.

Thanks for the quick input everybody. I only say started life as a Two Hearted clone because I've brewed that one and Dead Ringer several times with great success but wanted to add to the all centennial schedule with others that I've only used a time or two. That's where the crazy hop schedule comes from. How 'bout this:

Hop Schedule
0.50 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 60.0 min
0.50 oz Centennial [10.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min

0.50 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 5.0 min
0.50 oz Centennial [10.00 %] - Boil 5.0 min
0.25 oz Cascade [5.50 %] - Boil 5.0 min
0.25 oz Simcoe [13.00 %] - Boil 5.0 min

0.50 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Whirlpool 15.0 min
0.50 oz Centennial [10.00 %] - Whirlpool 15.0 min
0.25 oz Cascade [5.50 %] - Whirlpool 15.0 min
0.25 oz Simcoe [13.00 %] - Whirlpool 15.0 min

0.50 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Dry Hop 4.0 Days
0.50 oz Cascade [5.50 %] - Dry Hop 4.0 Days
0.50 oz Centennial [10.00 %] - Dry Hop 4.0 Days
0.50 oz Simcoe [13.00 %] - Dry Hop 4.0 Days

Total Hops: 6oz
Centennial 2oz
Amarillo 2oz
Cascade 1oz
Simcoe 1oz

I brewed this over the weekend. Sometime last night the airlock got clogged with krausen so the fermenter lid partially blew off. Whoops. Maybe I should consider using a blowoff tube in the future. I have had krausen get into the airlock before but's it's never clogged up completely allowing pressure to build up.
