Really random question, setup a temporary RIMS system last night until my brew rig is built. Used copper tubing and fittings and stainless steel quick disconnects that I had. The quick disconnects were crucial since the plumbing/kettles/etc needed to be portable and movable. Doing this since I want to avoid plastic tubing.
Did a leak test and unless the quick disconnects were exactly square with one another, they would leak. I think that's just the nature of the fittings? I have ones similar to the ones being sold on B3.
I have a somewhat big brew day this coming Sunday and don't think I can get some tri-clover fittings/clamps online to arrive on time which I think would solve my issue. Anyone know of any solutions that I can buy locally that would temporarily solve my issue?
