I'm going to be bottling my first shandy attempt tonight. It calls for a 1/2 gallon of lemonade to be added at the time of bottling (for a 5 gallon batch). I'm wondering if that will be enough sugar to produce a decent carbonation or if I should add additional sugar to it.

I added Trulemon crystalized juice to the priming sugar in 2C of water boiled a few minutes. So yeah,I'd say add it to the priming solution. If it's lemonade mix,add the mix with priming sugar to the water boiled.

So you would prime as normal and then just add in the lemon juice instead of using a store bought bottled lemonade?
