Ended up having to cancel my brew day, so I just tossed a sanitized lid on my my starter and tossed it in the fridge.

I don't have a stir plate so I use a sanitized mason jar with sloshing every few hours.
I just remember reading that o2 induced wort will harm the way it stores. I plan to use it within a week. Should I just decant it a day before, add some fresh DME and good to go

Anything wrong with this?

Decant and let it warm up to room temp before pitching. That's all she wrote. I've done it that way many times.

Actually there is benefit form cold crashing starter since you are allowing yeast to build their glycogen reserves.
