Hey all!

My first brew has been sitting in the carboy for 13 days and everything seems fine. I just have a question about the foam/krausen. It bubbled up for a few days before dissipating. All that's remaining is a bit on the surface and what looks like a small layer of it sitting on the bottom. I'm concerned about what's on the bottom of my carboy as I'm unsure whether or not this is supposed to happen. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

The stuff on the bottom is yeast and trub. Your yeast have probably eaten all available sugars (check this with you hydrometer, this will be your final gravity), and are now just chilling at the bottom of the fermentor.

Thank you! Much appreciated
