Well I'm hooked on home brewing and I have not even tried my first batch. It's just a ton of fun!

I will second that. A homebrewing friend got me interested in the hobby around Christmas. At that point I started reading every single night. Books, HBT forum. I did my first batch at the end of January and am officially hooked. Even thought I don't get enough opertunties to brew (work, kids, etc) I still love even reading and learning with the hopes of improving my future brews.
