Well folks I need some advice here. Like an idiot I misread the directions on Ed Worts Apfelwein and put in double the amount of sugar that the directions said I should. Anyways I started this batch about a month ago and there is still fermentation going on (I get 2-3 good bubbles a min from the airlock). I sampled a little this afternoon and it tasted like highly alcoholic apple pie filling. I was wondering if it is too late in the process to add more cider to thin it out some. I have a 4 gallon batch going and was thinking of putting it in a 6 gallon better bottle and adding 1.5 gallons of cider. Please advise!!!
