Saturday will mark 3 weeks my gumball head clone will have sat in the kegerator carbing up. At the same time I will be ready to move my hefe from the primary to the keg . Can I disconnect the gumball head, store it in the fridge and hook up the hefe to carb up? Can I use a picnic tap to draw beers out of the fridged keg? After a few beers I will have to connect theco2 and recharge the keg?

Yes just disconnect the gas and then I like to check mine (both gas/liquid) with a quick squirt of star san from a spray bottle to make sure it's not leaking any... move
it to the fridge let settle and enjoy. You should be able to pour several beers before you need to recharge it. Note that moving it will likely stir things up and you will
get cloudy beer for a bit so be careful when recharging etc.
