I'm planning on making a grodziskie soon and they call for lubelski hops. My local store (Northern Brewer/Midwest) doesn't have them but I have read that saaz is a substitute, which I already have on hand. I'm not thrilled with paying for shipping to get 2 oz of hops but will if I need to. Is the flavor profile of lubelski hops worth ordering them? Will I be able to tell the difference in a slightly smoked beer like this?

Probably not. But Lubelski originate from Saaz and they are grown in Poland. A little research tells me that Lubelski lack the cinnamon and earthy notes of Saaz, making it a bit fruitier I believe. Definitely a hop to try in a single hop blonde / golden ale.
